Officials with Running Aces have announced details of the track’s upcoming 2015 meet.

The live racing season will run from June 6 to September 12 with a total of 53 programs and over $2 million in the projected purse pool. Running Aces features barns and a five-eighths mile track about 25 miles north of the Twin Cities.

The Friday, April 17 deadline for submitting stall applications for the 2015 season at Running Aces is fast approaching.

Interested trainers should download an application at runningacesharness.com under the ‘Racing/Horsemens Info’ tabs and either mail, email or fax it within the next few days.

The barn area will open on May 27 with a qualifying session scheduled for May 30 at noon. Tentative condition sheets for opening week are currently available on both the USTA and track websites.

Applicants are asked to be as specific as possible about the horses they have available to bring to Minnesota for the summer.

"With limited stalls available, we need to fill them with race-ready qualified horses," said the track’s director of racing, Gregg Keidel. "I expect our eighth year will be a lot like the first seven, an exciting season of racing in a wonderful summer setting."
