With the Maryland General Assembly set to adjourn its 2010 session Monday at midnight, the Senate has attached provisions that would legalize table games at Rosecroft Raceway to another bill

A report in the Washington Post explains that the Senate has already passed a bill that would allow table games at the harness racetrack, but that bill is stalled in a House committee.
The Senate attached the Rosecroft provisions to a bill sponsored by a powerful House chairman Saturday afternoon in hopes of improving the odds of legalizing tables games. A final Senate vote on that bill will take place early Monday before it is sent back to the House.
