War Cry Hall took the lead after the quarter and romped to his third win of the year in the $25,000 Open Trot on Wednesday, March 9 at Dover Downs.
Trained by Jim King Jr. for RBH Ventures Inc., War Cry Hall was victorious in 1:53, equalling the fastest trotting mile at the track in 2016 set by I Like My Boss in early January. The win was one of four on the card for driver Tim Tetrick. Six Gun Hall (George Dennis) got a good spot sitting second behind the leader and finished there. Bluebird Reverend (Montrell Teague) got up for third.
While Tetrick drove four winners, Tony Morgan and Allan Davis were right behind with three. Owner/trainer Kathleen Brewer also had a triple. King Jr. had a training double.
