MSSBA Award Banquet Recap

On Saturday, March 6, Manitoba horsepeople met in Glenboro for the Manitoba Standardbred Sires & Breeders Association's annual awards banquet where top awards were

handed out.

Heartland Icicle, which is owned by Alcar Farms and trained by Philip Giesbrecht, was named Horse of the Year

Awards for top aged horses awards were handed out to Dance Step, Off The Matt and Isabellas Wish.

Sherri Mason took home the top trainer award, while Philip Giesbrecht took home the top driver award.

There was a great turn out at the banquet this year and a good time was had by all. The MSSBA would like to thank everyone that sponsored and donated awards and prizes; and also thank the emcees and everyone for chipping in to help make the night a great success.
