Siblings Make It Big and Make Three Wishes opened Sunday's harness racing card at Fraser Downs with back-to-back wins to sweep the early Daily Double.

The half-siblings out of the $300,000-earning Camluck mare Make Some Noise combined for a $31.30 Daily Double payout.

Make It Big ($7.40), a three-year-old gelded son of Blue Burner, scored a 1:59.3 maiden-breaking victory over the "good" track in the first race (his fifth career start) for trainer/driver Rene Goulet, who also co-owns with breeders Clifford and Kathleen Coonfer.

His older sister Make Three Wishes ($9.40) then held off pocket-pursuer Eliseuinthedust and favourite Alley Scat by a head for a 1:57 triumph in her second start for trainer/driver Bill Davis and owner Paul Sanders, who claimed the five-year-old Brandons Cowboy mare two weeks ago for $9,375. The $100,000-earner had previously raced for the Keith Clark stable.

Make Three Wishes' victory kicked off a training triple on the 12-race afternoon program for Davis. His other winners were Garden Gate LL ($3.10) and the John Abbott-driven Mystic Ruler ($6.40).
