SOS Sports Bet showed some speed at the conclusion of his three-year-old season, but the son of Bettors Delight showed never-before speed during the session of qualifiers on Friday, March 6 at Woodbine Mohawk Park.
The charts and video replay can't tell the entire story from Friday morning as a fog thicker than Habitant Pea Soup covered the Campbellville oval for the duration of the seven-dash slate. What the charts do show is SOS Sports Bet and driver Doug McNair closing in a sizzling :25.3 to pick off Arbitrage Hanover and driver Billy Davis Jr. by a neck in 1:55.2 to clock the fastest mile time of the morning. Its Electrifying N (Jody Jamieson) completed the top trio.
A homebred owned by Ryan MacDonald of Halifax, N.S., SOS Sports Bet (Bettors Delight - SOS Bambie) has been trained by Gregg McNair throughout his 20-start career that sports five wins, a mark of 1:50.4 and more than $106,544 in purses.
