Terry Gallant trainees made up the Exacta ticket in Monday’s $13,000 Preferred for horse and gelding pacers at The Raceway at Western Fair District as Sea Laird topped stablemate Rose Run Vortex in the featured affair.
Sea Laird, who was sent off at odds of 5-1, powered to the top from Post 6 for driver Tyler Borth. The gelding sailed along through fractions of :28, :58.2 and 1:28.3 before smoking home in :27.3 to win by two lengths over Rose Run Vortex in 1:56.1. Rounding out the Trifecta ticket was
