In a profile piece, Standardbred Canada President & CEO Dan Gall has been praised for his moves since joining SC in July of 2016.
O’Brien Award winning racing writer Dave Briggs has penned a piece which states that Gall’s efforts to create better synergy between SC and the USTA, help unify Ontario’s yearling sales, push for rules uniformity, and rely on the use of key performance indicators shows that he is helping push the national industry in a positive direction.
“One of Gall’s great first steps has been to consult many and be highly visible,” Briggs has written in Harness Racing Update. “Even more importantly, in a little more than six months on the job, he has been central in a couple of small, but key moves that show that he’s more about helping the industry as a whole move forward rather than advancing Standardbred Canada’s position in it.”
