Tightener, schmightener. Season-debuting Sayitall BB (George Brennan, $13.60) went the distance Friday night, winning Yonkers Raceway’s $35,000 featured Filly and Mare Open Handicap Pace.

The 2014 Breeders Crown champ, who ended her season with in a local distaff derby win, used her customary tactic here. Assigned penultimate post position No. 7, she stepped around Handsoffmycookie (Matt Kakaley), then made the teletimer her best buddy (:29, :58.3).

That did nothing for the chasers, including 9-10 choice Carolsideal (Dan Dube). The eight-hole-ordered lass, in search of a sixth consecutive victory, looked to leave but had no choice but to retreat.

That plan served her well a week ago, but not with these pokey intervals and a talented lass putting them up. Coffee Addict (Eric Goodell) was first to move, trying it from fourth going toward the 1:26.3 three-quarters. “Carol” and her 5-for-5 seasonal resume had to hustle to catch that tow as Sayitall BB owned a length and a half lead into the lane.

She held sway, whipping “Cookie” by a half-length in a two-speed, 1:55 number. Coffee Addict held well for third, with Carolsideal and Marathon Day rounding out the payees.

For third choice Sayitall BB, a four-year-old daughter of Tell All co-owned by trainer Ron Burke (as Burke Racing) and Weaver Bruscemi, she’s now 16-for-22 lifetime.

The exacta paid $102.50, with the triple returning $711.
