Chinnys Wings paid $6.30 to win as the 2-1 favourite. Bowins and Donald Brinkman of East Coulee, Alta. co-own the Armbro Ricochet-I Quiver Not gelding, who has two wins, two seconds and one third on his eight-race record so far this year with $26,650 earned.
