This Mare Is The Bestulldotanite

With rail position in a relatively short field on a half-mile track, where would you most want to be spotted during a race?

If you're Scott Coulter, driving Bestulldotanite in the $7,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred 3 at Flamboro Downs on Thursday night, you'd answer that question with 'the front end'. And that's exactly what Coulter did, carving out splits of :28, :57.1, and 1:26.1. Favoured Rolltideroll (J.R. Plante) was on that helmet in the pocket but a lack of outer flow and pressure on the leader for the majority of the mile gave Bestulldotanite all she needed to hit the wire first two lengths to the good in 1:55.4 over Rolltideroll and Good Luck Kathy (Billy Davis Jr.)

Bestulldotanite (Geartogear - Naomi Seelster) now boasts three wins from nine seasonal starts, more wins than she had in 2014 (two) from 17 starts. Robert Ellis trains Bestulldotanite for JJS Stables of Grand Valley, Ont.
