Trevor Henry earned the label ‘Mr. Monday’ thanks to yesterday’s seven-win performance at The Raceway at The Western Fair District, but Tuesday’s card belonged to Jason Brewer who racked up five wins.

Brewer, who started the day with more than 2,700 lifetime wins and purse earnings in excess of $24 million, swept the Daily Double in Races 1 and 2 with Stary Ives (2:08.4 - $6.90) and Natural Grace (2:06 - $3.40). He returned to victory lane in Race 4 with Molly Baran (2:03.4 - $6.00) and followed it up with a dead-heat for the top spot in Race 6 with OK Dynasty (2:02.1 - $3.80).

The Ohio native who now calls Puslinch, ON home capped off his big day with a victory in the $10,500 Fillies & Mares Preferred behind Classy Lane Rose. The OSS graduate sat next-to-last in the six-horse affair for most of the mile before using a :29.1 closing quarter to secure the head decision over race favourite Pathtodover in 1:58.3. Mc Taylor and Bunny Mach finished in a dead heat for show.

Sent off at odds of 12-1, the Ben Wallace-trained four-year-old daughter of Jeremes Jet-Titanic Rose won for the second time in five starts this season. Wallace co-owns the seven-time winner, who went over $200,000 in career earnings, with Jamie Millier of Puslinch, ON.

Wiskywisky Nancy O successfully marched up the class ladder thanks to her narrow triumph in the $8,400 Fillies & Mares Preferred-2 event just one race earlier. The five-year-old daughter of Mach Three-Celestine Prophecy rallied to a 2:01.2 score one week ago versus easier company, but today she won in wire-to-wire fashion for driver Doug McNair.

The Brent Belore pupil led the field through fractions of :29.2, 1:00.2 and 1:29.2 before finishing off her foes with a :31-second closing panel. The margin of victory was three-quarters of a length over Ostinato. Modern Star grabbed the show dough.

Jean and James Caddey along with Alana and Dylan Belore of Embro, ON share ownership on the mare who now boasts a 2-for-6 record this season. The seven-time winner bumped her lifetime earnings to $85,120 with the win.
