Rideau Carleton Raceway's leading reinsman Simon Allard racked up five more victories during the Sunday night harness racing program in Ottawa to help maintain his leading win percentage in Canada

Allard scored his first win on the 15-race card in the second event with the three-race streaking trotter Wolf Ted Creek ($3.40) for trainer Luc Loyer and doubled up in the third aboard pacer Minnesota Hanover ($5.40) for trainer Lesley Newland. Allard later returned to the winner's circle after guiding his brother's trotting trainee Homerun Hitter ($4.10) to victory in the ninth race. He also clicked for brother Rene with trotter Rae Conns Dyl Emma ($3.80) in the 12th and then closed out the card with one more score for Loyer aboard pacer Pembroke Dandy ($3.50).
Allard's five wins boosted his seasonal total to 50 and helped lift his purse earnings to $278,176. His leading win percentage stands at .442.
