Update On Shepherd

Trot Insider has learned more on the condition of driver Robert Shepherd following Monday night’s

eight-horse accident in the $55,400 Ontario Boys Pacing Series final for four-year-olds at Woodbine Racetrack.

Currently, Shepherd is in Intensive Care at Etobicoke's William Osler Health Centre due to a bone marrow clot. He is expected to receive surgery on his broken leg within the next few days.
