One of Indiana's hottest pacers in 2020 has been sold and will race for new ownership after winning his four-year-old debut.

After his stellar 1:50.2 performance in a $22,500 pace at The Meadowlands last Saturday (March 27), open pacer and stakes winner Dojea Gizmo has been acquired by Black Magic Racing of Reynoldsburg, Ohio. The son of Tellitlikeitis was undefeated in six starts for trainer Ron Burke, and begin racing under the Black Magic banner among some of the best horses in Ohio at Miami Valley Raceway.

As part of Greg Luther's goal of acquiring Grand Circuit stock, Dojea Gizmo is the eighth Grand Circuit-level horse Luther has purchased since October 2020. The 11-time winner, who finished third in the Indiana Sires Stakes Super Final last October, will make his debut for Black Magic Racing in Saturday's (April 3) $23,000 Open Hanidcap Pace at Miami Valley, with trainer Todd Luther having nominated Brett Miller to drive.
