Winning Night For Winacott

Trainer Mark Winacott enjoyed a productive Saturday night at Kawartha Downs winning three of the 10 races on the card

Winacott teamed up with birthday boy Jonathan Drury for his first two with three-year-old pacing gelding Tic Toc Doc ($3.70), who went wire-to-wire in 1:58.2, and 10-year-old trotter Tritri ($3.50), who romped to a 1:59.2 score fresh off a claim. Aaron Byron also drove eight-year-old pacer Honey Of A Deal ($9.30) to a 1:56.1 victory in his return to Winacott's barn.

The Peterborough, Ont. resident went three-for-four on the card and brought his seasonal win total up to nine. Lifetime, Winacott has sent out 1,137 winners while earning over $5.48 million in purse.
