Freehold Raceway has announced that effective Thursday, April 5, purses will be increased by 20 per cent
.
With the increase, purses will average $48,000 per day.
“We will continue to feature New Jersey-sired horses and preference will be given to New Jersey-owned and sired horses,” Freehold Director of Racing Karen Fagliarone said via release.
