Shady Sabrina, who was second last week and overlooked at 9-1 in this week’s $30,000 Mares Open Handicap, became Tim Tetrick's fifth consecutive victory on a rain drenched Tuesday at Dover Downs.

As a strong field of pacing distaffers turned for home, Shady Sabrina had not received a contender's mention. Tetrick hustled the Cams Dignity-Mymymymysharona eight-year-old from a wall of challengers behind race leader Native Hotspur and emerged from the pack to score in 1:54.4 over Lofty Widget and Apache Dame.

It was the mare’s third win of the year for owners Golden Hour Stables and KDK Standardbreds. The victory boosts the Dale Elliott trainee’s 2010 earnings to $54,900.

Tetrick also won with Master Of All Men (1:57.1), Pick Up (1:56.4), Little Bit Tricky (1:57.1) and Bluffs Real Deal (1:55.4). In addition to his five wins, Tetrick was the runner-up on four occasions.
