Trot Insider has learned that Greg Blanchard, the racing manager at The Raceway at Western Fair District, will soon be packing his bags for a bit of a vacation.
Officials with the Prince Edward Island Standardbred Horse Owners Association have announced that the PEISHOA Annual Awards Banquet will take place on Saturday, April 16, and that Blanchard will be the guest speaker for the evening.
The banquet will take place at the Rodd Royalty Inn in Charlottetown. There will be a reception at 6:30 p.m. with dinner and awards to follow at 7:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available at the Charlottetown Veterinary Clinic or from any board member.
