Ty O'Neill was leading trainer of the night at Fraser Downs scoring three wins during the 11-race Friday card

.

O'Neill's training triple began in the seventh race with Keith Clark sending sophomore That Space ($5.40) down the road over the sloppy track. O'Neill later teamed up with leading driver Jim Marino for a narrow win with four-year-old Limit The Risk ($3) and another wire-to-wire victory with six-year-old Major Indiscretion ($3.10) to close out the card.

O'Neill, who has already posted career-high numbers just two months into the year, is not far off the leaders in the track's trainers standings with 11 wins. He sits just two wins behind Keith Clark, David McKellar and Marjorie Dumont, who are all tied for first place.

In other action, trainer Mate Hecimovic celebrated his first win in over seven years when his homebred Western Baron ($72.80) pulled off a 34-1 upset in the second race with Grant Hollingsworth in the driver's seat.
