The Kadabra brother to speedy siblings San Remo Kosmos and Scully FBI - the dam of O'Brien Award winner Federal Flex - was purchased by Rene Allard of Quebec for $68,000.
Promising four-year-old pacer Space Walk was collared by Ancaster's Dave Lumsden for $66,000.
Well-bred sophomore pacing filly Chief Karen, who has already banked over $34,000 this year and came into the sale off a hard-closing second to the unbeaten Warrawee Koine in the Silver Reign Final at Woodbine, was purchased for $64,000 by agent Tim Twaddle of Meadowlands, PA.
An active and full crowd braved the cold temperatures at the new SC Sales Pavillion at Flamboro Downs and watched 75 horses go through the sales ring, bringing a total of over $618,000 and an average of $8,248.
"Unfortunately we didn't have horses for the buyers, but there's a demand for good racehorses and a shortage of them," SC Sales Manager Heather Reid told Trot Insider. "What was here though was excellent and they sold well.
"We had a great crowd and overall we were pleased with the sale."
