Cosmo Madness looped the field on the backstretch on the way to a 1:53.1 victory in the $44,500 Delaware Sired late closing series for 4&5-Year-Old filly pacers at Dover Downs on Saturday, March 27

Following an easy win in her only $12,500 prelim, Cosmo Madness was the public choice in the $44,500 final and lived up to her billing with her fourth win in seven starts this year lifting her seasonal earnings to $47,325 for owner Christopher Sharpe. Driver Jim Morand had no haste getting Cosmos Madness away from the gate. He began his winning move at the half and quickly sped four-wide around his rivals heading to the three-quarters. After easily taking over, it was no contest the rest of the mile. Charlene Polk conditions the Three Olives-No Sweets Please five-year-old. Jaidens Fortune finished second with Allan Davis at the controls. Fusss Bad and Jon Roberts were the third-place finisher.

Cosmo Madness, winner of the distaff final joins Melvins Dream, a 1:52.4 winner of the $45,100 male division Thursday, of the late closing event as 2010 champions.
