North Americans just can't seem to get enough of the reality-television series 'Storage Wars.' The continent's bizarre infatuation with complete strangers' bidding on unwanted or in-limbo belongings has proven to be too much for many to turn away from. Recently, a Dan Patch item at auction attracted a solid bid
.
According to a report on newstimes.com, a decently-sized Dan Patch Roasted Coffee tin from the early 1900s recently attracted a four-figure bid.
It probably wasn't a 'yuuuuuuuuuup' bid from Dave Hester that sealed the deal, but the article explains that the coffee tin did end up going to an individual that ponied up a bid of $2,035 for the receptacle.
The report states that the bright-red can features a horse and rider in a harness race.
