Monroe Township High School senior Harry Landy made his official Meadowlands driving debut on Friday, March 26 and, while he did not make it to the winner's circle this time, he is determined to make a name for himself in the sulky
.
Landy's first pari-mutuel win came at Freehold Raceway on January 21, just one day after his 18th birthday, the first day he could hold a professional harness driver's license. It was with Jet Escape, a horse owned by his grandfather, longtime horse owner and breeder Eugene Landy of Rumson, New Jersey.
