Three-year-olds which are eligible to Mohawk Racetrack's $1.5 million Pepsi North America Cup are slowly but surely beginning to come out of the woodwork

After Lucky Cadet scored in his lifetime debut Wednesday night at Pompano Park, a pair of 'Cup' eligibles went head to head Thursday during Mohawk Racetrack's qualifying session.
The three-year-olds in question were Western Terror colt Up The Credit and Rocknroll Hanover gelding Big Time Rocks.
The Carl Jamieson-trained and Jody Jamieson-driven Up The Credit was up to the task in the dash, as he put in a wire-to-wire mile from Post 2. The time of the mile was 1:55.4; the margin of victory was one and a half lengths, and the track was rated 'fast.' He took his mark of 1:51.4 as a freshman in an opening-leg division of the Dream Maker Pacing Series at Mohawk.
Big Time Rocks, who is trained by Rene Laarman and was driven this morning by Scott Zeron, took a two-hole trip after having left from Post 3. The duo was individually timed in 1:56. The gelding took his mark of 1:55.3 last year at Georgian Downs and was also clocked in 1:53.1 over Mohawk as a freshman.
Slave Dream continued on his path to return to the races during the session, as he trotted to a 13-length victory in 1:57.3 for driver Sylvain Filion and trainer Frank O'Reilly.
Other notable older performers putting in miles during the session were Stonebridge Terror and Cross Of Lorraine, the latter of which was triumphant in her 2011 charted debut.
