With just 10 older pacing colts and geldings entered for this year’s Spring Pacing Championship, no eliminations are required Saturday evening
at Woodbine Racetrack.
All 10 starters will automatically advance to the $125,000 final on April 2, with the final post positions to be announced on Wednesday, March 30.
Also, WEG will offer a $100,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 that evening. A $75,000 guaranteed early Pick-4 will also be offered on the following Saturday night cards of harness racing in April: 9, 16, 23, 30.
Headlining the field are two of the richest pacers in the sport this season: 2011 Willowdale winner Twin B Warrior and 2011 Presidential champ Alexie Mattosie. That duo will face the likes of divisional heavyweight Hypnotic Blue Chip, 2010's fastest pacer by virtue of his 1:47.2 U.S. Pacing Championship tally.
Undefeated pacer St Elmo Hero was paid up to the event but did not enter.
