Royal Regatta won his fifth race in a row at Woodbine Mohawk Park on Thursday, March 21 in the $10,000 to $12,000 claiming pace worth a $9,000 purse.

Louis-Philippe Roy took the Francis Guillemette student to post seven in the field of eight. Shooting to the top, Royal Regatta battled Choreographer (Tyler Jones) for the lead. He was caught on the outside in second as the timer clocked :27.2 at the opening panel before climbing to the lead. Once at the top, Royal Regatta never looked back. Setting two more panels in :56.4 and 1:25, the gelding battled onwards, brushing off a speedy charge from Mach Jacobs (Tyler Borth) to prevail by a nose in 1:54. My Land (Austin Sorrie) rounded out the top three.
