It has been reported that even though revenue projections have dipped somewhat, more investors and owners have been jumping on board with the group that is behind getting the proposed Valley View Downs project to become a reality in Pennsylvania
.
An article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has explained that more and more individuals have been added to the mix with American Harness Tracks LLC, and that the organization has been relatively quiet to this point in regard to discussing the changes.
The report has stated that, "Efforts to [contact AHT] have proven difficult, and not just for newspapers. Legislators, horsemen and others in the gaming industry have been trying, largely unsuccessfully, to learn more about the status of the Valley View project, and its ever-changing roster of principals, who, when contacted by phone, cite the confidentially clauses built into their investment agreement."
"We're not going to discuss ownership or anything related to ownership," AHT Spokesman David LaTorre was quoted as saying.
The report also explains how the casino and racino happenings on the Ohio side of the border have already affected the Valley View plans.
