Penn National Gaming has almost doubled the seating capacity for its proposed Hollywood Mahoning Valley Racecourse, according to the new plan it has submitted to the Ohio State Racing Commission.

The news comes courtesy of a report by First News WKBN 27, which states that the new plan includes 1,400 seats for racing spectators, nearly double the amount from the previous plan which was rejected by the OSRC.

The article has quoted Penn National Gaming's Eric Schippers as saying that his company is trying to "create as much synergy as we can" with the new plan.
