The United States Trotting Association has listed on its USTA Rulings that Michigan horseman Todd Pappas of Brownstown Township has been fined $2,500 and suspended a full 365 days effective March 3, 2009
.
The fine and suspension have come after Pappas was found guilty of giving misleading statements while under oath in a stewards hearing.
The USTA has determined that Pappas did permit a suspended person (Bob Zubkoff) to train horses that he (Pappas) was listed as trainer of record on.
