The Raceway at Western Fair District will host a special night showcasing Ontario’s newest pacing stallion, world champion Warrawee Needy, on Friday, March 11.

The career winner of $1.2 million, with a scintillating record of 1:46.4, is now standing at Mac Lilley Farms in Dutton, Ont. for a fee of $3,000. He was one of the fastest and most exciting pacers of the last decade and his many memorable moments on the track included an incredible 1:50.3 victory as a freshman in the Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final and his world record-equalling 1:46.4 performance in his William Haughton Memorial elimination at age four.

Warrawee Needy will be on hand at The Raceway to lead post parades during the evening and to meet and greet fans between races. Mac Lilley Farms will also be donating prizes to be given away during the night and there will be a named race for the pacer as well.
