It was reported last week that Dennis Farina and John Ortiz had signed on to portray characters in director Michael Mann and producer David Milch's pilot horse racing drama, 'Luck.' Now, an even bigger star is said to be taking part

An article on variety.com states that two-time Academy Award winner and six-time Golden Globe winner Dustin Hoffman has signed on to portray a character in the pilot.
Hoffman's character will reportedly portray a man in his late 60s just released from four years in prison who's autodidactic, intelligent, and deeply involved in gambling.
