Casimir Farm has announced the acquisition of Daylon Frontier p,2,1:55-1:55.1h, 3,1:52.3f, 1:50.4

($701,539).

The son of Run The Table--Freckled Petal has been retired after an impressive career, which saw him win 27 races and over $700,000 in earnings.

A durable and rugged performer, Daylon Frontier won over $250,000 in the Ontario Sires Stakes program with victories in the Flamboro Breeders Stakes, an elimination of the Nat Christie Memorial (second in final). He posted runner-up finishing in a division of the Burlington Stakes and the Nassagaweya Stakes. He also posted a third-place finish in the Canadian Breeders Championship.

Daylon Frontier demonstrated his class racing against and defeating horses like Admirals Express, Camystic, Red River Hanover and Dreamfair Vogel.

The horse stands 16 hands, wore a 62-inch hopple with very little other equipment, and was as comfortable on a half-mile track (1:55 over Flamboro at two) as he was over the larger racing surfaces.

Daylon Frontier will put size and conformation into his foals. He’s the perfect outcross for 90 per cent of the contemporary Ontario broodmares”, states Murray McConnell of Casimir Farm.

A service fee of $2,000 has been implemented with prompt payment discount to apply.
