Wheelin My Bentley and driver Tyler Borth wheeled to victory in the $10,000 featured trot at The Raceway at the Western Fair District on Wednesday, March 19.
Wheelin My Bentley wasted no time revving up the engine from the rail, surging off the gate to grab early control before Hot Fudge Sundae (Garrett Rooney) took over, setting the opening quarter in :29.2. The two exchanged control once more, with Wheelin My Bentley reclaiming the top spot and dictating the tempo through a half in 1:01.2 and three-quarters in 1:31.1. As Sizzlen Hot Herbie (Natasha Day) mounted a challenge around the final turn, Wheelin My Bentley found another gear, drawing clear to capture the feature by three lengths in 1:59.4. Sizzlen Hot Herbie was second and For All You Know (Robert Doyle) captured the show spot.
Wheelin My Bentley, the four-year-old gelded son of Wheeling N Dealin out of Lavecs Easter Gem, is trained by Katie MacNeil and owned by Tyler Borth and William Borth of Ingersoll, Ont. The victory marked his third of 2025, boosting his seasonal earnings to $26,135 and career bankroll to $66,975.
