The Western Fair District hosted the All Equine Show this past weekend in London and two familiar faces from The Raceway were a major part of the show.
Hall of Famer Dave Wall, along with last year’s national driving leader Trevor Henry, showcased the standardbred breed in ‘Evolution of the Horse’ extravaganza which took place on both Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon.
The spectacle demonstrated how the horse has evolved over time. The two standardbreds, guided by the combined winners of more than 11,500 harness races, were featured as the Grand Finale of the one-hour show.
Representatives from the Ontario Harness Horse Association (OHHA) and Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society (OSAS) were also on hand all weekend long promoting the vital role of the standardbred breed to rural Ontario.
Wall and Henry are both in action this week at the London oval. Henry, who recently took back over top spot in the local standings, has been selected to represent Canada at the World Driving Championships this summer in France.

Henry was the talk of the show after Saturday's night showing.
We loved being able to feature Ontario Horse Racing as an integral part of the story of "The Evolution of the Horse".
Glad Walls and Henry were a part!
