After a delayed start for track maintenance following heavy afternoon rain, Hawthorne Race Course cancelled its Friday evening (March 18) harness racing card due to the poor track conditions.
According to the track's Director of Publicity Jim Miller, the card will come back in full on Sunday at 4:30 p.m., followed by the originally scheduled Sunday card at 7:15 p.m.
