Driver Kyle Husted sent Moveoutofmyway ($3.80) wire-to-wire to capture the St. Paddy's Day Pace, sponsored by Peter and Mary Grandich, on Saturday (March 18) at Freehold Raceway.
Taking command from the inside post, the popular Chris Marino trainee led from start to finish in 2:00.2 for Husted, with defending St. Paddy's Day Pace champion Mike Whelan advancing first-over in rein to Dragon N Kickin and then diving to the passing lane to finish second. Kyle Caulfield and Mommas Artist rounded out the top three finish order.
Robert Bresnahan Jr., John McDermott, George Brennan, Jim Marohn Jr. and Jim Marshall III completed the line-up in the race featuring drivers of Irish heritage.
Moveoutofmyway picked up his first win of the year from seven starts for owner Howard Jacobs of West Orange, New Jersey.
