The claiming box has been a busy spot so far this season at Woodbine Racetrack, and Thursday night’s 10-race card at the Rexdale, Ont. oval was no exception.
A total of 19 claims were entered over the course of the evening, including the eight that were entered on pacer, Outlaw Gunpowder.
A season-high 15 claims were entered earlier this month on trotter Shoot The Thrill, who changed hands for $15,000 at Woodbine on March 2.
With just over 2-1/2 months gone on the calendar there have already been 98 horses change hands via the claim at Woodbine for more than $1.5 million.
