A sneak preview of Shannon's Rainbow, the forthcoming film with a harness racing backdrop, will be taking place Saturday, March 21 in Pennsylvania.
The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported that the event will be at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe in Canonsburg and will feature a red carpet, cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, dinner, the movie and dessert.
Cast members include Julianne Michelle, Claire Forlani, Louis Gossett Jr., Eric Roberts, Daryl Hannah, Jason Gedrick and Scott Eastwood. The five-eights mile Meadows racetrack is featured in the film.
Shannon's Rainbow is an inspirational drama about a grieving teen that discovers both the mother she never knew and love for a hobbled horse, Rainbow.
Shannon's Rainbow was the subject of a feature story in the March 2009 issue of Trot Magazine.
