Hanover Raceway has set tentative dates for its pair of 2013 added-money stakes events.
The 12th annual Dream of Glory Trot will take place with eliminations on Saturday, July 27 and the final on Saturday, August 3.
The entry deadline for the first payment is March 31, and there won’t be a supplement to this year's event. The race will be for trotting colts and fillies. They will compete for $10,000 (added) in the eliminations and $50,000 (added) in the final. There will not be a $100,000 guarantee as in past years.
The Balanced Image's tentative dates are Saturday, August 24, with the final on Saturday, August 31.
The deadline for the early payment is April 15, and there won’t be a supplement into the two-year-old trotting event. Eliminations will go for $7,500, and the final will be $30,000 (added).
The Balanced Image will also combine the trotting colts and fillies into one event.
Hanover Raceway is now in the process of finalizing its race-date application to the ORC, and the dates for the two stakes events will be subject to ORC approval.
Due to the late nature of the racing schedule, entry forms will not be available in trade magazines, but instead will be available at hanoverraceway.com.
