According to Travronden.se, Baltic Speed has pas
sed away at the age of 28.
Baltic Speed was trained by Sören Nordin and earned $1.27 million by winning 25 of 46 starts.
His most notable wins were the World Trotting Derby, the inaugural Breeders Crown Three-Year-Old Colt Trot and the Yonkers Trot.
During his stallion career in the United States he sired Valley Victory and Peace Corps. He was exported to Italy in 1995 and spent the rest of his life at Scuderia Orsi Mangelli.
