For the most part, racehorses have to be pretty special in order to receive the feature-story treatment by industry publications. When the racehorse is compared to one of the best competitors to ever look through a bridle, well, it gets two feature stories written about it in the same day.
Wiggle It Jiggleit has received a lot of attention in the industry since he charged to a 12-length romp at the Meadowlands on January 25. Three wins later and the gelded son of Mr Wiggles has people talking.
The undefeated three-year-old will be looking to extend his winning streak Saturday (March 14) in the $58,000 final of the William ‘Buddy’ Gilmour Series at the Meadowlands Racetrack.
On Thursday, Harness Racing Communications and the Meadowlands’ media arm each released feature stories on the powerful gelding.
Wiggle It Jiggleit’s trainer, George Teague Jr., told the Meadowlands that the gelding resembles Rainbow Blue and may even be faster than the standout mare. To read Teague’s comments, click here.
The gelding’s pilot – George’s son, Montrell Teague – has told HRC that Wiggle It Jiggleit “doesn’t have a flaw right now.” To read his comments, click here.
