The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association was thrilled to have members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on hand for its annual awards banquet.
Helping ASHA with last month's award presentations, held at Northlands Park in Edmonton, were Constable Scott Peever, Constable Dave Illi and his wife Constable Laura Illi.
Crackers Hot Shot was named Alberta's Horse of the Year while O'Brien Award winning horsemen Travis Cullen and Kelly Hoerdt earned more accolades as Cullen captured both driver and horseman honours while Cullen and Hoerdt shared the top trainer award.
