Terror Of The Nite easily cleared to the lead when Palone moved him to the front, but Heavenly Knox was gaining ground on a sustained first-over bid. That tough journey in the slop took its tool on Heavenly Knox, and Terror Of The Nite prevailed by 1/2 length in 1:56. Well Bred earned show.

Long shot Ajuama completed the ticket. Aaron Merriman piloted the five-year-old daughter of Angus Hall-Val Lee Woman, who extended her career bankroll to $313,097, for owner/trainer Bill Bercury.
