Trainer Kelly Hoerdt had another three-win afternoon at Fraser Downs on Sunday (March 1).

Queen Of Thrones topped Hoerdt’s winners when taking the card’s co-featured event, a $7,700 conditioned claiming pace. Driver Scott Knight sent the odds-on favourite to the top and faced little challenge through fractions of :28, :57.2 and 1:26.2 in progress to a head victory over Paint This Town. The public choice paid $3.10 to win.

Hoerdt’s other victories came earlier on the day. Thinkingofyoubabe began the hat trick when taking a $6,200 conditioned pace in 1:59 as the favourite, paying $3.50 to win. Two races later, Hoerdt trainee Good Day Is Coming also delivered as the betting chalk, popping pocket to win a $3,800 claiming event by three lengths in 1:56.3 and return $3.50 to win.
