day evening at Rideau Carleton Raceway for partners Jamie Copley and Dave Tingley.
Fresh off a career-best clocking of 1:53.3 on in his latest outing, the six-year-old son of Dexter Nukes employed an off-the-pace approach for driver Todd Warren to win his Sunday evening assignment in a time of 1:54.2.
Duke got away sixth in the early stages of tonight’s assignment before brushing to the top shortly after the field reached the half-mile marker. From there he drew off two in by more than four lengths over Fox Valley Calvin and Lakota Hall.
Sent off as the 1-2 favourite, the Jamie Copley trainee notched his 12th victory in 21 career tries while bumping his overall bankroll to $48,527.
