Training Hat Trick For Farmer

If wins were crops, then trainer Raymond Farmer reaped a bountiful harvest at Windsor Raceway

on Sunday evening.

Farmer sent out three starters and all three of them visited the winner’s circle – not a bad night at the office for the conditioner from Erie, Michigan.

Tattlers Top Gun survived a first-over journey to get Farmer on the board in Race 8. Brad Kramer engineered the winning trip with the 10-year-old son of Tattlers Torpedo, who stopped the clock in 1:55.

Iwannabeabuckeye front-stepped his way to the winner’s circle two races later for Farmer and driver Peter Wrenn. The seven-year-old Threefold gelding, who was claimed, got the job done in 1:57.1.

Farmer completed the triple with Fox Valley Bigshot, who clicked in the very next race. Brad Forward engineered the 1:56.3 score with the six-year-old son of Richess Hanover.

The productive night at the office helped Farmer bump his 2009 record to 10-7-4 from just 42 starts.
