Hot Info To Come From Out West

Want some weekly insider racing news from Western Canada? One of the industry's well-know personalities will now be feeding you some hot info.

In an article posted today, Surrey Now has announced that Fraser Downs' announcer/simulcast director Dan Jukich will be providing insight to the world of horse racing. Jukich recently replaced Rick Uppal as track announcer at Fraser.

"The goal is to make the column informative to newcomers but it will also have other tidbits that regular patrons would like to read," Jukich was quoted as saying.

"We might go into what a superfecta is but we won't go too deep - just things like picking the first four horses and how the bets work. Have some fun with it, buy a 20-center so it won't cost you much money and enjoy the experience," he said.

"No question is a dumb question," Jukic explains. "If you don't understand, please ask."
