Yonkers Raceway posted its largest handle of the new season Monday night (Feb. 4), with a total of $1,072,833 wagered during the dozen-race card.
Jordan Stratton won four races, the last of which was an 'un-Stratton-esque' 21-1, last-to-first Captain Deo ($45.20) in the $20,000, 10th-race pace.
That bombardier enhanced the evening’s Pick 5 wager, which returned $1,167.25 for every correct (4/3/1/7/4) half-a-buck ticket.
