According to a report, legislation to bring slot machines to New Hampshire, which would include slots for Rockingham Park, is asking for the green light to install up to 17,000
VLTs within the state.
"The climate has become more conducive because of the need and demand for jobs," senator Lou D'Allesandro was quoted as saying in an article on eagletribune.com. "This is a jobs bill; it's all about jobs."
D'Allesandro submitted a similar bill last year which looked to get 13,000 machines installed at various locations throughout the state.
